One of the greatest joys about catechesis is the journey of receiving people into the Church. It is an amazing privilege to meet a person when they first approach the Church wanting to find out more about becoming a Catholic, and then beginning that journey with them towards the sacraments of initiation and beyond… 
Over the next few posts, I want to explore how we receive people into the Church – what might be their impressions as they begin their journey, and how can we best serve them in the process of initiation?
